Amanda Peterson -- star of the flick "Can't Buy Me Love" -- has died at her home in Greeley, Colorado ... TMZ has learned.  We spoke with Peterson's father who tells us ... the family hadn't heard from 43-year-old Amanda since July 3rd and became concerned. Her body was finally discovered in her home on July 5.  As for cause of death, Peterson's father tells us they don't know the official cause of death -- but notes, "She had some illness and a sleep apnea problem that may have contributed."  We're also told Peterson had been dealing with several medical issues over the past 2 years -- including pneumonia, sinusitis and sleep apnea. Peterson's father also says she had been living in a home with mold issues ... but moved out about a year ago.  Peterson became a superstar playing Cindy Mancini opposite Patrick Dempsey in the 1987 romantic comedy ... but she left the entertainment industry altogether in 1994 and had been living in Colorado

Because Caitlyn Jenner did something so bad that the rapper — who was so instrumental in convincing wife Kim Kardashian to accept Jenner’s decision to transition into a woman — might be in a heap somewhere. An elderly woman was killed after her husband lost control while driving their car in Staten Island and crashed into a neighbor’s house Monday morning, authorities said. Mary Pannese, 81, was in the front passenger seat when her 80-year-old husband collided with the unoccupied house across the street from their home on Jackson Avenue near Cedar Avenue around 10 a.m., cops said. Pannese was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver was also taken to Staten Island University Hospital and was listed in stable condition. Police do not believe there to be any criminality. I'm sure that old man leaves like me. Lmao

Miley Cyrus  has bagged herself a Victoria's Secret model ... and during a break from filming a new music video Tuesday night in Los Angeles ... they locked up in a heavy make-out session. The girl's  Stella Maxwell , and she and Miley have been hanging out quite a bit lately. Miley posted a photo with Stella a few weeks back and captioned it, The photo and video were shot Tuesday night in a parking lot in Hollywood. They both saw the cameras and clearly kissed to make a point, and it did not seem like a typical Miley gag. We had to blur the video because Miley's hand goes south with Stella's help. The United States vowed Sunday to support Nigeria after a series of deadly terror attacks blamed on Boko Haram, calling for those responsible to face justice. The Islamists have launched a series of attacks on mosques, villages and markets in Borno state in the past few days, claiming more than 200 lives. On Sunday a suicide bomber blew himself up inside a church in the restive northeastern city of Potiskum, killing five worshippers. “The United States strongly condemns the recent attacks in northeastern Nigeria inflicted by Boko Haram,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said in a statement. “We will continue to support Nigeria’s efforts to bring those responsible for these attacks, as well as previous attacks, to justice,” he added in offering condolences to the families of the victims. The National Vice Chairman, South-South Zone, of the PDP, Dr. Cairo Ojugbou, made this remark on Monday at the party’s zonal secretariat in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. Ojugbou, who criticised the APC for not been able to manage the recent crisis engulfing it, explained that the ruling party had shown that it lacked coordination and ideology. On the Rivers and Akwa Ibom State tribunals going on in Abuja, the PDP national vice chairman expressed optimism that the PDP would win. He added that no amount of intimidation would make the party lose elections that it won squarely, adding that the people of Akwa Ibom and Rivers voted for the PDP. The Lagos State Police Command has arrested four members of the notorious gang that raided two banks in Ikorodu on Wednesday, June 24. It was believed the same set of bandits robbed financial institutions in Ikorodu three weeks earlier. The robbers made away with cash running into millions of naira in the last operation. In a bid to frustrate security operatives from successfully trailing them, the robbers set ablaze the three Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) they used for the operation. In an operation that looked like the March 12 raid in Lekki, Lagos, the hoodlums who shot sporadically, escaped with their booties through the Ipakodo jetty at Ikorodu, using two motorboats. No fewer than 30 persons have been reported dead following fresh attacks by gunmen in Birnin-Magaji Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Chairman of the council, Alhaji Muhammad Gusami, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday that the attacks took place in Kokeya and Chigama villages in the area. Gusami said the gunmen invaded Kokeya village with motorcycles and killed two persons, set some houses ablaze and carted away animals mostly cows. He said the incident had been reported to the divisional police officer of Birnin-Magaji and soldiers on surveillance of the zone. According to him, while Kokeya’s people were still mourning their loved ones, the attackers returned the next day and invaded the neighbouring village of Chigama. “The gunmen killed more than 30 persons whose bodies were still being recovered from the bush,’’ he said. Bobby Brown 's family can no longer visit  Bobbi Kristina  in hospice -- they've been banned because security guards believe one of them took the deathbed photo that's being shopped around. Sources close to the situation tell us the security team at the hospice informed  Whitney Houston 's family there was evidence incriminating a Brown family member as the person who snapped the pic. We're told Bobbi Kristina's estate -- run by her legal guardians -- made the decision to ban the Browns. We're also told although they know the culprit ... they're not naming names at this point. TMZ broke the story -- someone is  selling the pic  to the highest bidder, and has already contacted several websites and magazines. So far, it has not been published. ISIS over the weekend released a horrific video showing the execution of two media activists in Raqqa, for allegedly being 'informants', speaking against them and handing out anti-Shariah leaflets. In the video, the two men identified as Bashar Abdul Atheem and Faisal Hasan Al Habib, who were local residents in Raqqa, were first interrogated before they were tied to a tree and shot dead. Some residents of Borno on Monday cautioned the Federal Government against rushing into dialogue with the Boko Haram insurgents as a way of ending their violent campaign. Those who spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Maiduguri on Monday advised government to concentrate on military action against the insurgents. Kim is enraged that a photo agency is hawking pictures it claims to show her lying naked at her pool, and she's threatened to haul their asses into court. Kim's lawyer, Marty Singer, fired off a letter to X17, an L.A. paparazzi agency, claiming the company is hawking pics that were taken in a helicopter hovering over Kim's Hidden Hills home. K ADUNA —Kaduna State  Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai  yesterday denied claims by  immediate past Kaduna State government under Alhaji Ramalan Yero that it left behind, N8 billion in cash for El Rufai’s incoming government.
