Malia Obama continues to conquer Manhattan

Image
Malia Obama  is continuing to take Manhattan while in town for a summer internship with  HBO . The first daughter dined at La Esquina on Tuesday night with former White House chef and food policy czar Sam Kass and a group of friends who were celebrating a birthday. The owner of La Esquina, Derek Sanders, gave Malia a vintage “Obama 2012” shirt created by Sanders and his wife, Michelle, in 2010, which had been sold at the restaurant and worn by the staff. Kass, the former executive director of Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! initiative to battle childhood obesity, was the personal chef to the Obama family from 2007. He left the White House last December to live full-time in New York, and is married to MSNBC host Alex Wagner, who is based in the city. Malia, who turned 17 this month, has also been spotted dining at Bleecker Kitchen & Co.,  taking in a screening  of “The Stanford Prison Experiment” with her Secret Service detail, and brunching with her dad, President Obama,

Please Allow Rob Kardashian to Fill Your Daily Sadness Quota.

Image
If you have a brain that you use in any capacity to consume celebrity gossip, then you're well aware that  Rob Kardashian  has been going through a bit of a rough time. He's been behaving erratically, he's gained some weight, and he seems pretty insistent on not being filmed or seen by the public, which for a Kardashian is pretty huge. His issues were a plot point on the last season of " Keeping Up with the Kardashians ," where we saw the family beg Rob to get help. Really, it's this great big mess of sadness and pain, but don't worry, because  Kendall Jenner  is here to pull us all out of it.

Drake vs. Meek Mill Drake 'Ghostwriter' Track Leaks, Eerily Similar

Drake  and  Meek Mill 's beef just went way beyond a silly Twitter war -- because an alternate version of a Drake hit was just leaked ... and it features the alleged ghostwriter's vocals and verses. The song is "10 Bands" ... and  Quentin Miller 's version is damn near identical to Drake's. Funkmaster Flex first played it late Wednesday on NYC's Hot 97 ... throwing gasoline on the fire Meek started by accusing Drake of not writing his own raps -- a HUGE insult in hip-hop. Meek and a few other rappers are claiming Drake used Quentin's take as a reference to record his final version. For what it's worth ... Miller does have credits on several Drake tracks, including "10 Bands." Drake's remained silent about  the allegation  -- except for a comment to a friend on social media ... "I signed up for greatness. This comes with it." We're reaching out for Drake's response to the Miller track.
