So unfortunate though.  8:30 A.M. PST -- It has been revealed the victims are American pilot Alan Purwin and Colombian pilot Carlos Berl. A third passenger, American Jimmy Garind was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Two crew members from  Tom Cruise 's new movie "Mena" were killed on set Friday after a plane went down in Colombia. Reports say the small twin-engine plane went down with 2 American pilots and a Colombian citizen on board. It has been used during production to transport crew members. We do know Cruise was NOT on board. He had wrapped filming earlier in the day. There are reports the plane went down in bad weather near Medellin. The movie is about a pilot who worked for drug lord Pablo Escobar.

TULSA, Okla. — An Oklahoma woman charged with slashing the corpse of her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend during a funeral viewing has been ordered to stand trial. Special Judge David C. Youll ruled after a preliminary hearing Friday that prosecutors introduced enough evidence against 27-year-old Shaynna Sims for her to be bound over. She’ll be arraigned Sept. 21. Sims has pleaded not guilty to felony charges that include unauthorized removal of body parts from a body. She was arrested at the dead woman’s apartment after attending the viewing April 30. Police say Sims was carrying a knife with the woman’s hair on it. Witnesses told officers they saw Sims reach into the casket during the viewing, and court documents allege the dead woman’s face was discovered slashed, her makeup smeared and her hair on the floor. Sims initially won the trust of those closest to the woman by assuring them she was a skilled makeup artist who wanted to help prepare the body for a funeral vie

  A pair of 15-year-olds playfighting with a loaded gun left one of them dead and the other being questioned by police, authorities and witnesses said Saturday. Wilta Wordsworth, who stayed home from school on Friday, had invited a pair of boys over to her Queens apartment to hang out. She was play wrestling with one of the boys when he pulled a gun and blasted her in the head by accident, Nia Skrine, the doomed girl’s friend said Saturday. “He was scared. He just kept saying he didn’t mean to. It was an accident,” said Nia, 15, who had slept over Wilta’s Far Rockaway apartment the night before and witnessed the tragedy. A driver clocked at 112 miles per hour told police he was in a rush to “take care of a speeding ticket”. Seth Tichenor, 33, was stopped by Vermont State Police after other drivers alerted 911 to a “vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph and weaving in and out of traffic”. And when cops finally caught up with the impatient Connecticut man on Interstate 89, he explained to them he was on his way to pay for a previous speeding ticket. Tichenor, who explained he “was headed to traffic court to take care of a speeding ticket,” was busted for negligent driving and speeding,  according to The Smoking Gun . Tichenor was given a citation ordering him to appear in Vermont Superior Court in White River Junction on October 27.

Giuliani also said the spike was only in the shelter population, not in the number of homeless on the street. “People who are in shelters, I would like to inform the mayor, are not homeless,” Giuliani sniffed. Such a lie.  Walter Palmer had no idea he was stalking a famous animal when he tracked and killed Cecil the Lion -- and claims that would have made all the difference to him. The vilified Minnesota dentist spoke out for the first time since the killing and told the AP, "If I had know this lion had a name and was important to the country or a study obviously I wouldn't have taken it." Palmer disputed accounts that Cecil wandered wounded for 40 hours -- claiming it was instead just one day. He says he killed the lion with a bow and arrow. He refused to discuss how much he paid for the hunt.  Protesters surrounded Palmer's dental office for several weeks after he was outed as Cecil's assassin -- but Palmer says he's finally going back to work on Tuesday.

  Chris Brown left the courtroom with good news…for once. A judge ruled that he and Nia Guzman will have joint custody of their daughter, Royalty. via TMZ: Brown and Nia Guzman squared off in a Houston court Friday morning. She not only wanted to deny Chris any custodial rights, she also only wanted to give him supervised visitation. The judge disagreed and we’ve learned Chris and Nia will share 50/50 physical custody, with Royalty going back and fourth every 4 days. Both Chris and Nia now live in L.A. And Chris, who was in court represented by Mark Geragos, scored another victory. The judge ordered him to pay Nia $2,500 a month in child support, which is exactly what he’s been paying her. She wanted $15k. The judge also ordered Nia not to talk crap on Chris and not reveal anything about the case on social media. Hopefully these two can keep their business off of Instagram now.

Now that we’ve gotten out of our feelings and have accepted the fact that Serena Williams’ lost to Roberta Vinci  earlier today , we can have a little laugh at the fact a lot of people blame Drake for the loss. See full story: We’ve read our fair share of nasty  airplane stories  — but very rarely (read:  never ) do they involve other people getting peed on. 27-year-old Jeff Rubin spent about 5 hours in jail Friday after he reportedly urinated on several passengers right before landing at Portland International Airport. via  KOIN : Officers responded to the C-concourse to meet JetBlue Flight 47 from Anchorage after getting reports from the airline that a man had urinated on passengers, seats and luggage. When the officers boarded the aircraft, they found Rubin “slumped over asleep in his seat,” according to the police report. Numerous airline employees and passengers told police that Rubin had been sleeping for the majority of the flight. About 30 minutes before landing, “he stood up and began urinating through the crack of the seat onto the passengers seated in front of him,” the report states. At some point, Ru
