Men of the NSCDC seized the tanker suspected to be conveying about 33,000 litres of suspected adulterated Crude Oil at Osisioma, along Port Harcourt Expressway in the South-east region of Nigeria. The new Commandant of NSCDC in Abia State, Dr Benito Eze, confirmed the arrest of the suspect in possession of the tanker on Wednesday in Umuahia, the State’s capital. Dr Eze stated the agency’s commitment and determination to ensuring that vandals and oil thieves were chased out of Abia State. He also hinted that the suspect arrested with the impounded tanker would be charged to court after investigations. In an earlier development, Imo State Command of the NSCDC  arrested seven suspects  alleged to be involved in illegal sales and adulteration of stolen crude oil. They also nabbed three suspects who were into vandalism and selling of armoured Nitel cables. Chris Brown got himself trapped in the Philippines on account of his past behaviour, but luckily he was able to talk his way out of being able to leave the country. Here’s what went down: Brown played a show in the country Tuesday night, but when he tried to leave Wednesday morning for his next show in Hong Kong … he was blocked from doing so by the Philippine Department of Justice, reports the Philippines News Agency.  The issue at hand … Brown was allegedly supposed to play a show last New Year’s Eve, but never showed. The promoters of that gig were granted an order to bar Brown from leaving the country in order to get him to pay back money they say they are owed. Thankfully his lawyers were able to get everything sorted out and made it out of the country without having to go to jail or anything crazy. The bad news is that because of the whole ordeal he’s currently mid-air when  he’s supposed to be on stage in Hong Kong.

Kourtney Kardashian might not have married Scott Disick, but she is still reportedly seeking legal advice from celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser. The attorney is renowned for her work on high profile splits, and Kourtney was spotted on Monday heading into the same office building as Wasser. Wearing a sleeveless shirt, emblazoned with a ‘Native’ logo, the 36-year-old entered the building which is home to several law firm. The Century City building is also home to Laura Wasser, who fought fiercely for Kim during her split from Kris Humphries after their 72-day marriage. Wasser also reportedly helped Khloe recently seal the deal on her divorce after nearly two years from Lamar Odom. Peru will try to make contact for the first time with an Amazonian tribe that largely lives isolated in the jungle, part of a bid to ease tensions with nearby villages after a bow-and-arrow attack in May, authorities said on Tuesday. Government anthropologists will try to talk with a clan of Mashco Piro Indians to understand why they have been emerging from the forest, said deputy culture minister Patricia Balbuena. In recent years the Mashco Piro have increasingly been spotted seeking machetes and food outside their jungle enclaves in the Manu National Park in southeastern Peru. Villagers, Christian proselytizers and tourists have all interacted with the tribe, often giving them clothes and food. “The only ones who haven’t been in contact with them are representatives of the state!” said Balbuena. Peru prohibits contact with the Mashco Piro and another dozen “uncontacted” tribes, mainly because their immune systems carry little resistance to common illnesses. Authorit

Bill Cosby  is trying to hit Andrea Constand where it hurts ... in her checking account. Cosby just filed legal docs, firing back at Constand who now says she wants her entire court file released to the public. Until recently, her sexual assault case file and settlement with Cosby was confidential, but the judge has released selected portions. But now Constand says she wants Cosby's entire deposition made public. Someone leaked it to the New York Times, but she now wants it available to everyone. In Cosby's new legal docs, he says it's grossly unfair for her to break their confidentiality deal and at the same time keep the money he gave her to stay quiet.   Cosby's lawyer makes it clear ... if she keeps on trying to make the confidential docs public, she should be required to return some or all of the money Cosby gave her.
