Boy, 13, charged with assault for kissing a girl at school 'as a dare' – and faces expulsion
A 13-year-old boy has been charged with ASSAULT – for kissing a girl at school.
The teenager was allegedly dared to give the 14-year-old pupil the unwanted kiss and now faces a criminal record.
Police confirmed the boy has been charged with second-degree assault even though no-one was injured in the incident.
Baltimore County Police told WBFF that the incident has been recorded as a crime.
The boy could now also face suspension or expulsion but officials at Pikesville Middle School have no yet commented.
Last week we reported how a 14-year-old boy claimed he has been added to a police database after sending a naked image of himself to a female classmate on Snapchat.
The teen said he sent the image from his bedroom while "flirting" with a girl the same age.
But the image was shared around pupils and came to the attention of a police officer based at the school, in the north of England.
The boy's mother told BBC Radio 4's Today programme the incident has been recorded as a crime of making and distributing and indecent material even though he was not arrested or charged.
