Driver clocked at 112mph was on way to pay speeding ticket
A driver clocked at 112 miles per hour told police he was in a rush to “take care of a speeding ticket”.
Seth Tichenor, 33, was stopped by Vermont State Police after other drivers alerted 911 to a “vehicle traveling in excess of 100 mph and weaving in and out of traffic”.
And when cops finally caught up with the impatient Connecticut man on Interstate 89, he explained to them he was on his way to pay for a previous speeding ticket.
Tichenor, who explained he “was headed to traffic court to take care of a speeding ticket,” was busted for negligent driving and speeding, according to The Smoking Gun.
Tichenor was given a citation ordering him to appear in Vermont Superior Court in White River Junction on October 27.
