Kris Jenner reveals she can’t call ex Caitlyn Jenner by her new name: ‘I say Jenner’
Kris Jenner just can’t bring herself to call her ex "Caitlyn."
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star revealed to “Access Hollywood” that she is unable to call ex-spouse by her new name.
“I say ‘Jenner,’” Kris said.
“It’s hard, you know, it’s really really hard,” she said about the
former Olympian once known as Bruce Jenner, who recently filed to legally change that name.
Kris, 59, explained that after being married to the “I Am Cait” star
for 22 years, she was still taking her time “getting to know her” as a
woman.
“I just thought she would be a little bit different,” Kris said.
“Bruce had a distinct personality, and you know, had definite characteristics. And Caitlyn has some different ones, I feel.”
During the season finale of “I Am Cait,” the exes were shown meeting for the first time since Caitlyn went public with her transition in June.
While their initial meeting was tense and emotional, Kris said that she could eventually see herself having some kind of friendship with Caitlyn.
“I don’t know about curl up on the couch,” she said when asked if she and her ex would be the kind of gal pals who would curl up together.
“But she came over for a drink last night and that was nice.”

“What I have realized in all of this is that everyone handles stuff a
different way. No matter what it is, you know. We’re all people. We all
have different emotions.”
