Khloé Kardashian: I don’t have a ‘real relationship’ with Caitlyn
Just because Khloé Kardashian shared a deep bond with Bruce Jenner doesn’t mean she’s just as close with Caitlyn.
“I don’t know this person anymore,” the 31-year-old told sister Kim Kardashian during a sneak peek at Sunday’s “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” according to the Daily Mail. “Bruce is gone, and I don’t know Caitlyn. Simple as that.”
Khloé, who previously admitted that she still calls her stepdad “Bruce,” also disclosed that forging a friendship with the 65-year-old former Olympian will take time.
“I don’t mind talking to her — but it’s not a real relationship anymore.”
Following Caitlyn’s transition earlier this year, the aspiring talk-show host admitted that her family had a tough time adjusting to the change.
“I think what people don’t seem to remember is that, this is our real lives and that a lot of these things we are experiencing in real time,” Khloé said on Australia’s “The Project” back in July. “But I think there was a hard time for the entire family, that we were all transitioning with her, but in front of an audience, I think that’s not really the normal way to go about it, you know.”
