Get ready for Wiz Khalifa-branded pot
The “See You Again” rapper, 28, is partnering with a cannabis company on a branded strain of weed called Khalifa Kush, reports Forbes.
The branded marijuana is just one part of Khalifa’s partnership with Colorado-based RiverRock Cannabis. The two also collaborated on infused products and concentrates that will be released alongside Khalifa Kush on April 20.
Although it’s only just announced, the strain was actually in the news last week, after its mere mention set fellow rapper Kanye West off on a long and winding multi-tweet tirade. Khalifa, who had already criticized West for changing the title of his upcoming album, mentioned smoking “kk,” which West assumed was a reference to wife Kim Kardashian. Khalifa explained, “KK is weed fool.”
The pair have since made up.
Khalifa is far from the first musician to lend his name to a cannabis-related product. He follows in the footsteps of Snoop Dogg, Willie Nelson, The Weeknd, The Game and Action Bronson, just to name a handful.
